One great thing about living in Central
Texas is that a foreign country is just a road trip away.
A friend of mine from
New Orleans (Bill) visited me from October 27, 1997 through the
30th, so we took a road trip to Mexico. We had a lot of fun.
We were treated like kings. At Crosby's in Acuna, we had our
own personal waiter, waiting on us hand and foot. American waiters
could surely take some pointers from our Mexican friends.
Everyone was so friendly.
I think that they love Americans in Mexico. At least that is the
way we were treated. Treated like kings--I think that sums it
up.

This is one of the places where we
hung out in the evenings. There is a disco upstairs.
